About the Troop

Meetings

Meetings are held Thursday evenings at 7:00pm in the St. Camillus Catholic Church CCD building located at the rear of the parking lot.  This behind the church at the intersection of Dow Avenue and  Concord Turnpike (Route 2 exit 57 access road) in Arlington Massachusetts.  Anyone interested in seeing what the troop is like is invited to attend any of our meetings.  Please check the calendar

The Program

Our program is varied and full with camping trips almost every month. The Troop outings program is designed to provide the Scouts with fun, new skills, and advancement. In addition to meeting requirements for advancing in rank, outings provide opportunities for earning merit badges, including Camping, Cycling, Hiking, Cooking, Backpacking, Pioneering, Orienteering, Wilderness Survival, and an the annual Turkey Trip where we build ovens and make an entire Thanksgiving Dinner outside.

The troop also runs an annual Christmas Tree sale at the St. Camillus parking lot. Profits from the sale support international trips. Past trips have included Austria, England, Scotland, Sweden, France, Iceland, Canada and most recently Spain and Portugal.
